Nothing Could Be Finer Than Opening Clinic Number Niner

2009/2010 – PA/NJ – Pinnacle Treatment Centers have added 4 more clinics late last year and early this year, bringing their total number of automated clinics with Tower Systems to nine. “Nine is a good round number,” said Cat Lover and T3 Database Guru Rick Davies. “Well maybe not a good round number, but rather a good prime number. Wait, nine isn't a prime number. Maybe I should wait until they get to 11 clinics before I start making such bold Euclidean statements such as that.”

Brett Favre Getting That Retirement Itch Again

August 19, 2009 – Minneapolis, MN – If it wasn’t for Brett Favre’s 13th return to professional football with the Minnesota Vikings, we’re sure Tower Systems’ latest installation would have been the top story in the Star Tribune. Specialized Treatment Services (STS) had to take a back seat to Favre, who once again is showing his passion for stopping things, then starting things again. “My apologies to Tower Systems and STS for stealing their thunder on yet another successful methadone software installation,” said Favre. “I promise this is the last time I retire and un-retire. Unless Reggie Bush gets traded to Tennessee. I’ve always wanted to go to Dollywood.”

The Stars at Night are Big and Bright

June 18 & August 5, 2009 – Lewisville, TX – Medmark Treatment Centers has chosen Tower Systems to automate two more of their methadone programs, bringing their total number of clinics with Tower to six. Hayward and Vallejo California are the two latest additions to Tower’s continually growing customer base. “They’re not our largest clinic chain by any means, but they continue to get bigger and bigger every year,” says Tim Kendall, owner of Tower Systems. “I guess that’s just how things work in Texas - everything is just bigger.”

Not Much of a Gamble Here

June 2 & July 18, 2009 – Las Vegas, NV – Mission Treatment Services has gone all in by choosing Tower Systems to automate their two methadone programs in San Diego and Escondido respectively. Mission Treatment parlayed Tower’s vast knowledge of California’s billing and CalOMS processing to help make the decision to go with Tower Systems a safe bet. Can we include any more pathetic gambling clichés in this press release? The odds are in our favor we can.

Tower is a Shoe In

April 21, 2009 – Sun Valley, CA – Narcotic Addiction Treatment Agency (NATA) held out as long as they could before choosing to automate their methadone program. So when they finally decided on a methadone software provider, Tower Systems was their first choice. “We knew there were other companies out there who have methadone software. But it was the customer service at Tower that made them the obvious choice for us,” said Christy Wilson, Clinic Director and owner of NATA. “Plus they’re right down the street from us. So if they screw up, I can go over there and throw a shoe at them.”

Tower Opens Their Fifth Oregon Clinic

December, 2008 – Belmont, OR – After opening three more CRC Health Group clinics to end the year, Tower Systems now has five installations in the State of Oregon alone. Perhaps it isn’t as remarkable as the fact that Oregon has more Ghost Towns than any other state, or the fact you still can’t pump your own gas. But in the world of Methadone Automation Software, it’s a pretty big deal.

Cheese Steak Installation

September, 16 2008 – Philadelphia, PA – Tower Systems automated their first methadone clinic in Philadelphia (SOAR), while at the same time breaking the world record for the most cheese steak sandwiches eaten by a methadone software installation team. Unfortunately the good people over at the Guinness Book of World Records were not present to witness this feat. But if they had, we’re sure they would have recorded it. As well as been disgusted by it.

Tower Tees Off with Pinnacle

June & August, 2008 – Pittsburgh, PA - Tower Systems automated two more Pinnacle Treatment Centers over the summer, completing another perfect round of installations. Avid Golfer and T3 Database Guru Rick Davies said Tiger Woods couldn’t have done this installation any better than he did. Although Woods was not available for comment, we’re pretty sure Woods would describe Davies’ golf game as, “Pretty sucky.”

Tower is the Clear Choice

June 17, 2008 - Long Beach, CA - Choices Recovery Services chose Tower Systems to automate their out-patient drug free program in Long Beach California. Although Tower Systems T3 software is specifically designed to automate methadone clinics, its therapist module is so robust, many out-patient drug free facilities across the country choose Tower Systems to automate their programs every day. Ok, well maybe not every day. But boy, it sure feels like it!

There is No Period After the Dr in Dr Pepper

May 14, 2008 - Plano, TX - Tower Systems automated the first of eight clinics for West Texas Counseling & Rehabilitation, and learned a lot about the state of Texas along the way. For instance, in Texas, it is illegal to put graffiti on someone else's cow, for $150 you can become a licensed dead animal hauler, and it's the only place in the world where they make Dr Pepper according to the original formula. And there is no period after the Dr of course. Only in Texas.

Tower Has All The Right Moves

April 30th, 2008 - Johnstown, PA - Pinnacle Treatment Centers, Inc. opened its second methadone clinic with Tower Systems in Johnstown, PA - the same location where the movie, All The Right Moves was filmed with Tom Cruise. When asked if he had ever seen the movie, Tower Systems Manager of Communications Johnny Nielsen said, "Of course! I can't believe the way Coach Nickerson kicked Stef off the football team just for sticking up for his Ampipe High teammates. That last second fumble against cross town rival Walnut Heights could have happened to anybody. It was pouring rain for crying out loud! If it wasn't for the support of his girlfriend Lisa, there is no way he would have ended up getting that football scholarship to Cal Poly. I guess if there is one lesson to be learned here, it is this: "Play the ball, not the man Djordjevic!"

Ohio is Nuts

March 19, 2008 - Youngstown, OH - Tower Systems has entered into the Buckeye state, bringing up Meridian Services in the City of Youngstown, while at the same time learning what a Buckeye is. A Buckeye, as it turns out, is a nut from the Buckeye tree - which is the official tree of Ohio. So the next time you watch Ohio State play football, you can impress all your friends by telling them what a Buckeye is. Now if we can just figure out what a Michigan Wolverine is . . .

Tower Goes Coast to Coast

February 20, 2008 - Tower Systems installed two clinics on two coasts in the same week. CRC's Medford Oregon location went live, as did Pinnacle Treatment's Pittsburgh Pennsylvania location. "Bringing two clinics live in the same week is never an easy task, especially two that are as far apart as these two are," said superstar Tower Trainer Marsha Althoff. "The remote pre-training makes all the difference. It allows me to appear like I'm in two places at once. Like I'm Batman. Or was that Superman? Either way, you get the point."

Tower Hires Rick Davies from Raining Data, Inc.

January 1, 2008 - Tustin, CA - Tower Systems won the bidding war over Raining Data's Rick Davies, and they couldn't be happier. Rick brings to the table database management experience from a number of different and unique backgrounds. "Tower has always had a good reputation in the multi-value database community," said Davies. "To work with these talented people on a daily basis will be educational as well as a lot of fun. Plus they buy me chili cheese dogs on Wednesdays."

A Warm Reception at the 2007 AATOD Conference

October 23, 2007 - San Diego, CA - Tower Systems hosted the best Welcome Reception AATOD has seen in years, kicking off one of the most successful AATOD conferences of all time. When asked how the Welcome Reception was received, Jina Thalmann, Program Director for Center for Drug Free Living said, "The attention to detail was spectacular." "Best prime rib I ever had," expressed Lee Tillman, Owner of Santa Rosa Treatment Center. "They should book this band at every conference," gushed Dave Kneessy, Regional Director for Central Florida Treatment Centers. When asked how much time and effort went into planning such an amazing event, Tower Systems' owner Tim Kendall said it best: "How much time? About one minute. They said they needed someone to sponsor the Welcome Reception. So I wrote them a check."

Tower Journeys Into Oregon

August 28, 2007 - Tigard, OR - In 1805, The Lewis and Clark Expedition traveled through the Oregon region during their expedition to explore the Louisiana Purchase. They built their winter fort at Fort Clatsop, near the mouth of the Columbia River. A little more than 200 years later, Tower Systems traveled through the Oregon region and set up their most recent CRC Health methadone clinic in Tigard, near the mouth of the Washington Square Mall. "Moving into another state is always exciting," said Craig Jones, a Lead Developer at Tower Systems, Inc. "And our expedition only took two days, not two years."

Fortress of Solitude

July 20, 2007 – Fort Pierce, FL – Perhaps Fort Pierce isn't Superman's home away from home, but it is home to Tower Systems' latest installation. Central Florida Treatment Centers opened clinic number five, continuing to use the same software that has made their previous four clinics so successful. "It simply shows you how easy and efficient our software is to use," says Tim Kendall, Director of Information Services. "And you don't need any super powers to use it."

Nothing Rocky About This Installation

April 17, 2007 – Colorado Springs, CO – Tower Systems rolls into Colorado today, opening yet another CRC clinic. “It was a pretty straight forward installation,” said Rich Chesavage, a Team Tower Trainer. “They’re a bright bunch over here, which always makes for an easier installation.” However, Rich did have one complaint. “I was disappointed there wasn’t enough snow to do a good bit of skiing. Which means I’ll be back in the office next week.”

Tower Pre-Pours It On

April 3, 2007 – Albuquerque, NM – Tower Systems rolls into New Mexico today, combining two CRC clinics into one. New Mexico is a pre-pour state, and Tower Systems has merged these two clinics seamlessly. “It’s a huge clinic,” says Jessica Miranda, a Team Tower Trainer. “They have close to 800 patients. But the software performed beautifully. And I didn’t look too bad myself.”

Little Rock & Roll

February 21, 2007 – Little Rock, AR – Tower Systems rolls into Arkansas today, with the installation of C.A.T.A.R Clinic. Before we entered this state, the only thing we knew about Little Rock Arkansas was that President Bill Clinton was from there. Well that and the fact that in 1812 - William Lewis, a fur trapper, built a home near the little rock. But everybody already knows that.

Solo Installation

January 17, 2007 - Wilmington, CA – CRC Wilmington went live today without any help from Tower Systems. CRC simply used staff from their other locations who are currently using Tower’s T3 software and brought themselves up on their own. “Well, to be truthful it wasn’t entirely on their own,” said Johnny Nielsen, Manager of Communications for Tower Systems. “We did have to order take home labels for them.”

Happy Christmas

December 15, 2006 – Tustin, CA – The Tower Systems employee Christmas luncheon was a smashing success – literally – thanks to Koki’s Japanese Steakhouse’s free flowing saki. But everyone was on their best behaviour, and a good time was had by all. Cheers to Tim Kendall and Jeff Brannon for picking up the monster tab, especially after discovering the free flowing saki was anything but free.

T3 Takes Off

September 1, 2006 – Tustin, CA – T3 has completed beta testing, and today Tower Systems begins implementing it across the country to all our customers – free of charge. This newest version is a significant milestone for Tower Systems, as it combines the most functional and robust methadone management software in the country, with a brand new, easy to use look and feel. “We’ve always had the brains,” said Pieter Hubbard, the architect behind T3. “Now we have the looks to go along with it.” Contact Tower Systems, Inc. today to see it for yourself.

Hello Again Sunshine State

August 8, 2006 – Palm Beach, FL – Tower Systems continues to dominate the State of Florida with yet another installation. Central Florida Treatment Centers opened their 4th clinic in Palm Beach, and are on the move to open more. Our interns here are hoping their next clinic will be in Daytona – ironically right around Spring Break.

Pieter Has Baby Number Five

July 15, 2006 – Newport Beach, CA – Pieter and his wife Laura welcomed Nicholas Alexander into their lives on July 15th, 2006. Nicholas breaks the streak of four straight girls for the couple, which will certainly help with Pieter’s sanity over the next few years. Congratulations to you both. Go ahead and leave that seat up Nicholas!
